The Red Sox scored 5 runs in 3 games & swept the Twins. Yesterday it was Papi then Napoli providing the fireworks in the 10th with back-to-back jacks to earn a 2-1 win. We may never see better starts than the 3 by de la Rosa, Lester & Lackey that they just turned in. Pitching compensating for lack of hitting. 3 1-run wins. What a momentum changer when you come out on top of close games! Now the Sox go into Oakland for 4. The A's with miss Lackey & the Sox will miss Sonny Gray. It will be a battle of the 3-4-5-1 starters for each team. Oakland is tough at home, but maybe the Sox finally have some momentum going their way. Assume jet lag may impair their game 1 performance tonight. A split in Oakland would be a very acceptable outcome. Get ready for late night baseball.
