Tanaka, Yankees Beaten
Thank you, Cubbies!! The lowly Chicago Cubs beat Mashahiro Tanaka & the Yankees 6-1 last night. The Cubs were the first team to face Tanaka twice & maybe there's a message to be read. Second-time around won't be as easy for the previously unbeaten pitcher of 2+ years. The Yankee announcers had it down to the number of days since he had been beaten, 600+ days. Really? Is that detail important? With Tanaka now looking beatable, the Yankees now look very beatable & vulnerable too since the rest of their pitching staff is underperforming. Misery loves company. Let's invite the pinstripers to joins us in the lower half of the AL East.
