Sox Sweep Braves With 4-3 Win
Keystone Cops might best describe the Braves defense in the 8th & 9th innings last night. The Atlanta Braves squandered a 3-1 lead to lose on an error in the 9th 4-3. The Red Sox used one of Jake Peavy's better starts to comeback for this win. Xander Bogaerts is proving that he is a tough out. AJ Pierzynski is coming up with some big RBI. And Brock Holt is adding life at the top of the order. All this with Victorino, Napoli, Doubront & Buchholz on the DL. Big Papi & Carp did not start last night due to soreness, but both entered the game late. Lavarnway left with an injury that may land him on the DL. But as long as we win, who cares! It does take a 25-man roster to make it through the course of a long season. Speaking of new, I am excited to see Workman & de la Rosa pitch the first 2 games of the Rays series.
