Sox Lose 6th Straight

There's not much to take away in a 6-4 loss to Toronto, other than it's another series loss at home in Fenway & it's the 6th straight loss in a row. But I'll go with what Eck said - that the offense looked better & now it's the starting pitching that's the problem. No question that Jon Lester is the one bright spot. (How's that $70 million offer looking now, Larry?) John Lackey has been good, but even he joined Jake Peavy, Felix Doubront & Clay Buchholz in getting lit up during their last turns through the rotation. Doubront is on the DL after hitting his shoulder getting out of a car. Funny how these things only surface after a bad outing. Buck should be on the DL, maybe for mental issues. I say give the guys in Pawtucket a chance - Renaudo, de la Rosa, Webster, Workman. What's to lose? One will need to take Doubront's turn anyways. Maybe Buck should come up with a "sleeping wrong on his shoulder" injury again. The ship is sinking. Time for all hands on deck.
