For the 8th time this year the Red Sox lose a game that would have put them at the .500 mark for the season. Today it was the A's salvaging a game in extras by a score of 3-2. And today it was the A's that had lady luck with a seeing eye infield hit to score the winning run in the 10th. Chris Capuano was bad 2 days in a row, ruining the chance for the Red Sox to sweep this 3-game series. The Sox are 3-3 on this homestand with 2 left against Cincinnati on Tuesday & Wednesday. If we keep winning series, though, things will be OK. One series at a time.
