Red Sox & Cardinals Both 15-16

Is there something to the World Series hangover? Last year's participants, the Boston Red Sox & the St. Louis Cardinals, are both somewhat staggering out the starting blocks this year with identical records of 15-16 after a month + of the 2014 season. An extra month of post-season games does take a toll & it makes team management reconsider how much to push players in spring training. Players are creatures of habit & routine, so taking a month off to rest in October is messed up by the post-season & off-season workouts begin later. No team has won back to back championships since the Yankees in '99 & '00. But there's a lot of baseball left. I find it interesting that both teams are 15-16 at this early juncture of the season. Just a fun fact.
