Sox Invade White House

David Ortiz took a selfie with the President. Jonny Gomes wore a suitcoat of the American flag. This will be one of the final remembrance of their 2013 championship & of the Boston Marathon bombings as the Sox turn the page to the 2014 season. President Obama thanked the Sox for responding with a championship to a city that needed something to cheer for. Patriots Day this year will again feature a ballgame & the marathon. It will be a sad remembrance for those who died & for those were injured last year. But it will also be a testiment to the fact that life goes on, not quite the same, but a sign that terrorism doesn't win.
