Napoli Closing Out Another Good April

If you remember back to April of 2013, David Ortiz was out of the lineup with an Achilles problem for the first 2 weeks. It was Mike Napoli who led the offense in those first few weeks. And Mike Napoli has put together another impressive April in 2014. To date he has 27 hits in 23 games, 5 homers, 15 RBI & an OPS of .947. If we multiply his numbers by 6 months, Napoli would finish with 30 homers & 90 RBI, just what you need from a #4 hitter. If this year is true to form, Nap's production will tail off in the middle of the season & he will catch fire again in September & hopefully October. Who will ever forget his game-winning HR off of Verlander in the ALCS? Napoli was a great signing in 2013 & he continues to be a great signing for 2014 & 2015. So what if he likes to run around Boston shirtless & serve drinks at bars. He loves the city. Where would the Sox be without his production this month?
