More On Sox Loss

Mike Napoli got hit by Darren O'Day on Sunday night on his left knee cap. Nap stayed overnight at Fenway to get treatment on his knee & was able to play today. Not only did Nap play, he took O'Day over the wall for a homer today. Payback! Clay Buchholz was bad, not even making it through 3 innings. Concern? We'll see how his next 2 starts go. Don't forget that Brandon Workman is in Pawtucket & he can be called upon to join the starting rotation if needed. At least the Sox are scoring runs again, 6 in each of the last 2 games. If the offense can stay hot, it will give the pitchers & fielders a chance to relax & not think that they have to play a perfect game every night in order to win. Xander Bogaerts rundown in the 8th was a back-breaking out that ended a potential big inning. He looked foolish as young players will do from time to time. Certainly a learning moment for him. I'll take X-man's good over his bad anyday.
