Guest Article #2: Baseball in Arizona

My 2nd game of the week was the Giants versus the Angels in Tempe, AZ. Let me say that the Angels have the worst scoreboard in the Cactus League & the worst souvenir staff also. I went into the Angels store & asked a young man for some help getting a shirt that was out of reach. He went over to get the hook needed for clothing high above. He never came back. As I was standing near the shirt, I could see this same kid buying a few shirts. Once he was done he walked out of the store. At that point I had waited 20 minutes. I did not know what to do, either chase the clerk down or just walk away. So I left. When we got to our seats the second coming of Keith Oberman was sitting behind us. He was as obnoxious as a baseball fan could be. On or about the 6th inning he left. Thank God! The highlight of the game was watching a woman below us that looked about 75 & wore a silver colored disco hat. Although I have complained about the fans & scoreboard the Angels by far had the best babes!! (Author Coach Gaff)
