Can Buck Hold Up This Year?
Clay Buchholz makes start #1 today of his 2014 season. How many starts can we expect him to make this season? Good luck figuring out the answer to that question! With a history of injuries Buck is the new Jacoby Ellsbury. You just don't know how long he will be on the field. When healthy his 12-1 start last year proves that he is one of the best pitchers in baseball with command of all 4 of his plus pitches. It would be a huge impact on this team for Buck to make 30+ starts & eat up 180 to 200 innings. That would save the bullpen to be fresh during the playoffs. My prediction - 25 starts, time off in June or July for dead arm, & 150 innings. What's your thought?
