A Tough April Schedule Continues

The Red Sox are 5-7 entering today's game at Yankee Stadium. They have earned series wins against the O's & Rangers while being swept by the Brewers. A win today will earn the Sox a split against the Yankees in their 4th series of the early 2014 season. After today the Sox start a series in Chicago against the White Sox, then return home for a 7 game homestand against the O's & Yankees. Then they are back on the road for 3 in Toronto before return home for the final series of the month against the Rays. Lots of games against AL East opponents. Since the Sox are 5-7 now with 16 left I think a first month of 14-14 would be acceptable, given the level of the competition & given the loss of Victorino & Middlebrooks who may return at the end of this month. What do you think?
