Red Sox 4, Braves 1

As one commentor to the blog reminded me about Allen Webster's last performance, it is just spring training. So with that caveat, a good win by the Sox yesterday with good performances by Doubront, Lavarnway & Sizemore. I didn't think that Grady Sizemore would be a big factor in challenging JBJ for the CF job this year, but I'm starting to think differently now. Grady just may play himself into the lineup & take over the top spot in the order. Forgetting grapefruit results, if Sizemore remains healthy with no setbacks, he has a good shot to be the starting CF in Baltimore while JBJ gets more time for seasoning at Pawtucket. This is turning into a much more interesting battle than we first thought! Nice pick up, Ben!
