David Price threw like David Price. Another good day of spring training as the Sox enter the 2nd half of their Florida tune-ups before starting the real thing in 2 weeks. The only hiccup for the Sox was Will Middlebrooks who is nursing a hyper-extended finger on his throwing hand. A report from WEEI says that it bothered Middlebrooks to throw more than hit - which sounds odd. A few days of rest & treatment should get him back in the lineup before the end of the week. Webster, Vazquez & Marrero were send to the minors with John Farrell saying all 3 have continued to make excellent progress. These are players that could be called up this year if needed. The Sox continue to build a deep roster at every position.
