Peavy Cuts Finger With Knife

Fishing, a sport that I know nothing about. Southern sportsmen like to fish a lot & Jake Peavy just wanted to take his son fishing. Cutting fish line with his knife, Peavy accidentally cut his left index finger. He expect to lose a few days of practice while his finger heals on his non-throwing hand. Not the worst thing to keep Peavy back a few days as he is prone to breaking down & he only has so many bullets left in his right arm. Injuries during spring training are never fun, but this one seems to be minor & should cause no significant loss of time. That starting rotation this winter of 6 has gone down to 5 without Dempster & now down to 4 for a few more days. The saying "things will work themselves out" is true this year.
