More on Bryce Brentz

Bryce Brentz is an interesting player. He has a power bat, averaging 22 homers & 78 RBI over the past 3 seasons in the minors. Brentz had a setback last year when he injured his leg cleaning his gun. Just a weird accident. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University & was drafted in 2010 by the Red Sox. Brentz is 6'0" & 190 pounds. A player of similar stature in size is Mike Napoli. Maybe Brentz will get a chance at OF/1B/DH whenever David Ortiz finally retires. Brentz is someone to keep track of for the future, or earlier if injuries occur. He is a part of a stacked Red Sox minor league system.
