OK, Lackey got shelled yesterday & there wasn't much to chat about on the Sox front. So I googled A-Rod only to find that he is now stiffing his lawyers, refusing to pay $3 million of his $5 million legal bill. Perfect! The article by John Heyman says that if A-Rod claims malpractice by his legal team, he will lose his client privilege & more seedy facts about his suits against MLB, the Yankees & the Yankees team doctor could see the light of public scrutiny. Heyman goes onto say that A-Rod's comeback & contract future from 2015-2017 - worth $61 million - may depend on his necessary admission of wrongdoing, something that A-Rod has yet to deal with. Sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't make. Just think if A-Rod had become a Red Sox!
