Guest Article: The New Manny

Manny Ramirez has been talking comeback again. He wants to hook up with a major league team. He need not bother because he has already made it. Manny lives in MLB through the likes of Yasiel Puig. Puig is an enormous talent who took LA by storm last year. Like Manny, he is a marvel to watch with the bat. However, Puig has a side to him that has manager Don Mattingly pulling his hair out. He regularly runs the bases like a Little Leaguer, running into outs and taking his team out of a potential big inning. Puig showed up for camp this year overweight. He has twice pulled himself from games this week after striking out; once claiming he had a sore back, and the other claiming a sore shoulder. It reminds me of the time that Manny pulled himself with a sore right knee, only to be seen limping on his left knee later on. Yes. Manny is back! (Author Steve B.)
