Big St. Paddy's Day for Sizemore

O'Grady or Grady O'Sizemore showed that the luck of the Irish was on his side on Shamrock Day yesterday. 2 great catches. 3 hits at the plate. No one knew what to expect with this signing, but it sure has worked out to date. Another good job by Ben Cherington & his staff to bring a quality guy & a hungry guy into camp. IF he stays healthy, Sizemore can step into the void left by the departure of Jacoby Ellsbury, both in the field & at the leadoff spot in the lineup. It would also give JBJ a chance for more seasoning at AAA. I didn't think that Sizemore would make such a great use of this opportunity, but he has. Competition is always good. Keeps everyone focused on the job at hand.
