Baltimore Gets Ubaldo

4 years & $50 million. That's what the O's ponied up to land starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez. Big gamble in my opinion. Jimenez pitched for Terry Francona's Indians over the past 3 seasons. Wildness is often his enemy. After 2 subpar seasons Jimenez finally pulled it together for a good 2nd half of 2013, but it was a small sample size. If I were the O's, I would have gone harder at Ervin Santana. But it's not my money. Like the Yankees signing of Tanaka, Ubaldo is a big gamble. Time will tell if Dan Duquette was a hero or goat.
