February Almost Here

One wicked month of winter is almost over. The truck will be leaving Fenway for Jet Blue Park soon. Pitchers & catchers will begin showing up in Florida. Position players will be there shortly thereafter. And spring training games will start by the end of the month. Throw in Ground Hog Day & Valentine's Day. The shortest month of the year is always a good one as baseball comes to life once again. Characters like Ryan Dempster & Jonny Gomes will provide some amusing comments. Jon Lester may crack a few more smiles. Big Papi will be like a politician running for re-election. Mike Napoli may run around the park shirtless. And Dustin Pedroia will be taking 1,000 ground balls a day at second. Hang in there! February & baseball are coming to the rescue.
