Yankees Waste No Time

The New York Yankees have already contacted the agent for Japanese pitcher Masahiro Tanaka. Reportedly, Tanaka is looking for a minimum of $17 million per year & at least 6 years. Do the math & that's over $100 million for a guy who has never thrown a pitch in the majors. Big risk. Maybe a big reward for the 25 year old who "experts" predict could be a #1 or #2 starter. Good luck, Hal! Haven't you learned that throwing money at a problem doesn't cure it? Your dad is rolling in his grave. Didn't these same "experts" pick the Red Sox to finish last too?
