Yankees Get Sloppy Seconds

With the Red Sox signing of Mike Napoli & the departures of Cano & Granderson the Yankees moved quickly to sign Carlos Beltran to a 3 year, $45 million deal & they brought back old-timer Hiroki Kuroda for another year. Beltran has a history of injuries & will turn 38 or 39 by the end of this deal. Kuroda is 39 & was ineffective when pitching during the last 6 weeks of 2013. More old guys to an already old team.
