Winter Meetings Quiet

Trumbo to the Diamondbacks. Anderson to Colorado. Not blockbuster trades by any means, but a little activity. The week before these meetings was very active with new homes for free agents Cano, Granderson & Ellsbury. I'd still like to see the Sox get into conversations over a trade for Giancarlo Stanton & a signing of Corey Hart. But if neither happens, Ben has said that he can go to spring training with the team as currently composed. Farrell has said pretty much the same thing. The Yankees still need a closer & are rumored to be talking to Grant Balfour. No movement on Shin Soo Choo or Nelson Cruz for big money. Both may be getting lesser offers than expected. And Stephen Drew is still hanging out there. Overall, very quiet meetings thus far.
