Pats Host Buffalo

There are no easy games in the NFL this year. The motto of "any given Sunday" certainly applies after the Pats stomped the Ravens in Baltimore last Sunday. So no one should think that this week's finale against the Bills will be a cake walk. It all comes down to the "D" in my book. If the Pats D plays like last Sunday, there is no reason to think that New England can't beat any team. But we have seen games where the defense become very porous against the run & they give up big chunks of yards in the secondary. Which defense shows up on Sunday? Your guess is as good as mine. Regardless of the outcome of the rest of the season & playoffs, the Patriots have overachieved this year - just like the team on Causeway Street did. Maybe the outcome will end the same way, maybe not.
