Pats Crush Ravens 41-7
I was wrong. Freddy Smerlas was right. The Patriots proved a lot of naysayers wrong with a dominant performance on the road against the Super Bowl champs Baltimore Ravens, handing them their worst defeat at home ever. It was an excellent game by New England on all sides of the ball from start to finish. It reminded me of Lackey beating Verlander in game 3. No matter how undermanned this team is, the moral of the story is don't count them out. Even Belichick gave his team high praise in his usually dull post-game press conference. Good in all 3 facets of the game. 2 TD's late by the defense. Total domination. Terrell Suggs, see you later! I had to laugh when Brady went down & Suggs just touched him, then Suggs went on a personal rah-rah even though his team was down 20-0. No "I" in team. I also thought that Jacoby Jones trying to run a kick out of the end zone with no chance of reaching the 20 yard line was so shellfish. He got tackled on the 2, but lucky for him his foot was out of bounce when he caught it. Obviously, Jones wanted to get his yards & screw the team by taking time off the clock. Very selfish. Baltimore laid an egg in front of their hometown fans. It may cost them a spot in the playoffs. Any yes, this was the biggest win of the year for the New England Patriots. T-E-A-M wins!

I think you are the only person I know who was actually able to say " I was wrong. Freddy Smerlas was right." His wicfe is buying him a clue for Christmas because he doesn't have one.
