Pats Are Underdogs

Even the home grown team of New England football media are not predicting a Patriots win in Baltimore on Sunday. Only Freddy Smerlas is still waiving the Pats flag. Can you blame them? Baltimore is playing well over the past several weeks. The Pats keep losing more players & it finally caught up to them in Miami last weekend where they had to settle for red zone field goals versus TD's. And the Pats are 3-4 on the road this year where weird last-minute plays or calls or non-calls have effected the final outcome. Most think it will be a close game decided in the final 5 minutes. My crystal ball says that the Pats need to create turnovers on defense & special teams or I think the Ravens win this game handily. The Pats have a banged up "O" line & no Gronk in the red zone. And the defense gives up too many run & pass yards. If the Patriots can keep the game close, I think that will be a spectacular effort. But, sorry Freddy, I don't see how the beat-up Pats can pull out a win on the road this week.
