A Win Is A Win
Another slow start to the 1st half. A porous defense the whole game. But, once again, the Pats offense has a big 2nd half. Gostkowski kicks the tying & winning field goals from 50+ yards. And the Pats defense makes 2 big stands at the end of the game to seal a 34-31 win over the Texans in Houston. It was ugly & hard to watch at times as Houston ran the ball at will & the Pats secondary looked bad most of the game. A few more catches on balls dropped by the Texan receivers & we may be talking about a Pats loss. But give the Patriots credit for getting the job done at the end of the game. Gostkowski, Edelman, Gronk & Brady all had big days. The running game was OK without Stevan Ridley, but Bill may need him against a tougher opponent like Baltimore. One more win seals the top spot in the AFC East for the Pats & guarantees them another trip to the AFC playoffs.

The defense is porous and scarey. If anything sinks us, it will be the D.
