Sox Still In On Beltran

Carlos Beltran could slide into a DH role with the Red Sox after the 2014 season & David Ortiz' departure. The question is not how much, but how many years will the Sox need to offer Beltran to land him. 2 would be perfect, but 3 or 4 is just too long. Beltran is a switch-hitting power hitter who excels in the playoffs. Problem - he's just old. Who knows how he would hold up playing outfield every day? I'm still of the opinion that we stay young, no additional 35+ years olds.
