Sox & Matt Kemp Talks

The Dodgers are entertaining talks over trading Matt Kemp. Kemp, 29, is signed for 6 more years & $130 million. While the Dodgers would be willing to eat some salary I don't see where Kemp fits the parameters for the Red Sox. When healthy Kemp is a middle-of-the-order bat, but he is coming off an injury-plagued year. His best year was 2011 where he hit .324 with 39 HR's & 126 RBI. One attractive thing about Kemp is that he has always hit for average (.293) & he has a good on-base percentage (.844). I just think that the duration of his contract is too long & Ben would not want to part with top prospects to land him.
