Pats Lose 24-20
Everyone knew it would be a tough, hard fought game. One more final completion by Tom Brady as time ran out could have spelled victory, but it was not to be. And, once again, a Pats game is decided on a flag, this time a flag that gets picked up for a no-call. Panthers beat the Patriots 24-20. The Pats shot themselves in the foot several times. A fumble by Ridley. An untimely sack. A personal foul after the play, possible costing the Pats a TD instead of a field goal. A missed tackle by Arrington. Talib unable to stay on the field. Talib not playing like Talib. Interference by McCourty. An on & on. In the end the Patriots played the Panthers very tough all night, but it seemed like the replacements just weren't enough to get the job done, especially in the secondary. A good effort in a loss, but it's still a loss as the Pats go into the Denver game next Sunday night.
