Pats in Trap Game?

Patriot fans have to wait until Monday night to see their team take on the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. Cam Newton has been playing much better as of late. Add their trio of tough running backs & a solid defense & the Pats may be looking at a trap game before taking on Denver next week. However, Belichick & Brady do an excellent job of getting the team to focus on the task at hand. The re-emergence of Gronk allowed the offense to run up 55 points on Pittsburgh 2 weeks ago. But Belichick has warned in the past about the pitfalls of the first game back after a bye week. Gregory & Dennard are out, leaving the Pats short of bodies in the secondary. Talib expects to be back & possibly Vereen as well. It's a weekly shuffle of injuries to different players at this time of year. Most talk shows are expecting a low-scoring affair due to the Panthers D. I'll go with 20-17 Pats.
