Nolasco to Twins

Pitcher Ricky Nolasco signs with the Minnesota Twins for 4 years, $49 million. He has an option for a 5th year at $13 million based upon innings pitched. Nolasco was traded to the Dodgers from the Marlins last year. He is a 200-inning a year guy with a career ERA of 4.37. Remember, that ERA includes pitchers hitting in the NL. Going to the AL Central may be quite a wake-up call when he faces the lineups of Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland & Kansas City. Nolasco typical has wins in the teens, his best year being 15 wins. Minnesota is trying to rebuild & they need to overpay to get players. The Twins are rumored to be interested in Saltie as a catcher also. The more I see & read about these free agent contracts, the more I think Ben should fill holes from within.
