Fielder to Texas, Kinsler to Detroit

2 big names are changing teams. Prinbce Fielder & Ian Kinsler are trading uniforms in 2014. Texas was looking for a power bat & had a ton of infielders at the big league level. Detroit was looking to jettison a long term contract & shore up their infield defense. Win-win. Fielders poor performance in the playoffs made him expendable. Kinsler was being pushed out by younger players with talent. It remains to be seen if Detroit will go hard after Mike Napoli now as they have a need at 1B or they could possibly convert Miguel Cabrera to 1B & re-sign Perralta to play 3B with Iglesias at SS. Napoli's price may have just gone up.
