Duck Boat Parade

I didn't get a chance to see the parade today, but I did get it on tape for viewing later. I can only imagine that it was great. A fitting finish to an unbelievable year. When Jake Peavy first joined the Red Sox & said hello to Jonny Gomes, Peavy asked Gomes how things with the team were going. Gomes replied "just another day closer to the parade." And so Jonny proved psychic as well as a winner. Being out of state I can tell you that not everyone is happy that the Red Sox won again. Another team's GM or VP, I forget which one, said "don't think that character guys like Gomes are the future of team acquisitions." I say OK, but we'll stay the course with the Jonny's, Shane's & David's for another year. Some managemnent people will always stick to the math & numbers. We will stick to T-E-A-M. Get the Sox DVD ready for sale by the holidays. I'll have my kids buy it for me.
