Was the Trade Worthwhile?

Was the trade of Jose Iglesias for Jake Peavy a good one? Question answered in a few hours as Peavy starts his biggest game in a Red Sox uniform. The Sox got rid of a log-jam at SS where Drew, Iglesias & Bogaerts were all vying for playing time. By trading Iglesias the Sox wound up with a veteran starter & former Cy Young Award winner. As we saw in LA earlier this year, when Peavy is "on" he can be devastating. He was not "on" in his recent playoff start against the Tigers. So a lot of reporters will be judging the merits of the trade that brought Peavy to the Red Sox based upon his performance today. I hope Jake is "on" as we could certainly use a win tonight.
