Sox Strike Back With 4-3 Win
The Boston Red Sox continue to amaze. They take 2 out of 3 in the Motor City, the most recent nail-biter tonight by a score of 4-3. The Sox lead the ALCS 3-2 & come home to Beantown. Where to start with tonight's great team win? Jon Lester threw 5 2/3 strong innings. John Farrell with the conviction to lift Lester in the 6th & turn the game over to his bullpen. Mike Napoli with 3 hits & a huge homer to get things started. Napoli scores the winning run on a past ball. Jonny Gomes throws out Miguel Cabrera by 5 feet on a dumb base-running play. And Koji gets a 5-out save to preserve the win. Let's not forget Will Middlebrooks heads up running play to go 1st to 3rd on a sac bunt. As a Red Sox fan, what more can we ask from this team? I know - 1 more win against Scherzer or Verlander. The World Series is in sight! Enjoy the ride!

I love their chances. Farrell should drop Drew to 9th in the line-up. He is killing us when he comes up with men on.
