Sox Kick Ass in Game 1

The Boston Red Sox laid down a beating on the Tampa Bay Rays 12-2 in game 1 of the ALDS. Matt Moore was not helped by the poor fielding of Sean Rodriguez & Wil Myers in the 4th, but Moore didn't help his own cause by covering 1st base late on a Stephen Drew grounder that extended the inning. It seemed like Tampa fell apart in the field, leading to a 5-run 4th & this was a lead that the Red Sox would add & add onto as the game wore on. I am tired of hearing how superior the Tampa pitching is. Jon Lester & his teammates rose to the challenge today - as they have done through 162 games this season. Let's keep the magic of 2013 rolling on Saturday when Lackey & Price hook up in game 2.
