Sox Await A's Or Tigers

We know it's the LA Dodgers versus the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS. After tonight we will know the Red Sox opponent in the ALCS. As I said on our latest podcast, the Cardinals scare me because they have an excellent track record in the playoffs, minus 2004 against the Red Sox. If I had to pick an opponent for the Red Sox, I'd go with the A's just to stay away from the Tigers pitching - not that the A's young arms are not as good, maybe just not as experienced. The Red Sox will have Jon Lester ready to go in game 1 on Saturday. I'm amazed that Shane Victorino doesn't have broken ribs after being drilled by Rodney at the Trop. The Red Sox are rested, healthy & ready to go. Not even Felger & Mazzaroti can find fault with this team now. That's saying something!
