Patriots Win
It was an improbable comeback against Drew Brees & the undefeated New Orleans Saints. The Pats offense sputtered all day, but they did put some points on the board. Similarly, the Saints offense found it hard to score off of a bump & run Pats defense that knocked receivers off of their pass routes. The tide seemed to change in the Saints favor when Aqib Talib left with an injury & Danny Amendola got pulverized on a catch by 2 Saints defensive backs. Then there was the pick of Brady with 3 minutes & change left in the game. As the stadium was emptying of fans Chandler Jones made a huge stop to force the Saints to punt. With 1 minute & change left in the game Brady goes 70 yards, 5-7 to 4 different receivers & finishs tthe afternoon with a picture-perfect throw to KImbrell Thomkins in the left corner of the end zone with 5 seconds left. Pats 30, Saints 24. A huge comeback for this team, this franchise in 2013. Don't count the Pats out yet!
