No Cleveland Indians. No Pittsburgh Pirates. No Oakland A's. Only 4 heavyweight teams are left for the Championship Series. Los Angeles versus St. Louis. Detroit versus Boston. Kershaw, Greinke, Wainwright, Scherzer, Verlander, Lester, Lackey, Buchholz. Ramirez, Gonzalez, Holliday, Beltran, Cabrera, Fielder, Ortiz, Napoli. These are some of the stars who got their teams to this point. In a 4 out of 7 series the best team usually does win. Of the 4 teams left perhaps only the Red Sox were the underdog to get there. The NL starts things off tonight while the Tigers invade Beantown for game 1 on Saturday. Anything can happen at this point. We should all appreciate the effort it has taken to get the home town team to this point. Now let's keep it going!
