Matt Holliday tied the game with a solo shot to CF. But late RBI hits by David Ross & Jacob Ellsbury put the Sox ahead to stay. Matheny will be scrutinized for not bringing in a lefty to pitch to Ellsbury with 2 outs. Looking ahead, the Sox face a tough customer in Michael Wacha in game 6, but John Lackey will be up to the task. Similar to the Detroit series, the Sox split at home & won 2 out of 3 in the visitor's ballpark. Let's hope the script repeats itself again as the Sox beat the Tigers in 6.
