Lester Needs "A" Game

As my niece texted to me today, we need Jon Lester to be on his "A" game tonight. I agree. Good for the Red Sox that their sluuggish offense got 12 hits last night. We just couldn't get the big hit with RISP. If Lester & the defense can keep it close through the first 6 or 7 innings, Sanchez usually has a high pitch count by then & we can get into a very average bullpen. Usually someone you wouldn't expect has a big game. It could be Middlebrooks, Bogaerts or Drew - whoever is out there & batting in the 8th & 9th spots to turn the batting order over to Ells who seems to have his swing again. It would seem that this would be the game to win for us with Lester on the mound. Then we need 1 of 2 back home. One team leaves Detroit up 3-2 tonight. I hope it's us.
