Tigers win 7-3 to even the ALCS at 2 games a piece. Jake Peavy had a bad 2nd inning, giving up 5 runs which put the game out of reach early. A rare misplay by Dustin Pedroia may have extended the inning, but the 3 walks by Peavy were killers as all 3 runners scored. No late innings heroics last night, although the X-man Xander Bogaerts started the 9th with a double & scored on Ellsbury's triple, his 4th hit of the night. No it comes down to Sanchez, Scherzer & Verlander versus Lester, Buccholz & Lackey. Best 3 versus best 3. Let the better team win.
