Sox Pick-Up McDonald

Native New Englander & well-traveled utility man John McDonald is now a member of the Boston Red Sox. McDonald gives this team a veteran presence should something happen to any infielder, most importantly Dustin Pedroia. McDonald can play all infield positions except 1B & he would be a very good glove to spell any of the regulars for a break down the stretch. I remember McDonald being a pain in the Red Sox side when he played for Toronto. Look at McDonald as an insurance policy.
