Pats Luck Out 23-21

Terrible. Ugly. Awful at times. All of these words are accurate to describe the Patriots effort in Buffalo today. But you can also add "win" to the vocabulary. A win is a win is a win. If you are going to stink & turn the ball over several times, at least come out of it with a win. And the Pats did enough in the 4th quarter to squeak out a 23-21 win over a determined & youthful Buffalo Bills team. Buffalo comes out of this game feeling that they could have won if they clean up their penalties & turnovers. New England comes out of this game thinking we have so much work to do because a repeat of today's effort will result in a loss 99 out of 100 times. Ridley remains a fumble machine. Vereen took over & did much better. Amendola & Edelmann did yeoman work to keep the Pats in position to win, particularly on the final drive. And Brady was the glue to keep the offense moving forward at the end. This was a win with reservations about future performance. Short week to get ready for the Jets on Thursday.
