Jerry Remy Out for Season

The very popular Rem Dawg is dealing with a parent's nightmare. As a result, NESN has indicated that Jerry will not return to the broadcast booth this year. Jared Remy is standing trial for murdering his girlfriend, mother of Jerry's granddaughter. Sometimes being a public figure is not a good thing & this is one of those times. How do you recover from something like that? Life will never be the same for the Remy family. And the court system is backed up, so I assume the trial will linger well into the next baseball season. I wonder if Jerry will ever be back with his partner Don Orsillo. Just when he was getting over his depression & treatment for cancer something like this happens. One interview on NESN last night had a fan say "God bless Jerry!" I guess that's about all we can say to the Remys & to the victim's family members.
