Sox Finish Strong At Home

Felix Doubront pitched a strong 7 innings to help the Red Sox to a series win over the D-backs. Score of yesterday's game was 4-0. Couple of points besides the fact that Doubront had another quality start. D-backs RF Gerardo Parra missed 2 balls, one from carelessness that went off his glove & one because he looked like a little leaguer who had never caught a ball in the sun. Brock Holt did get a sac bunt down yesterday, something he could not do on Friday. He also started 2 double plays. I thought that Holt contributed to the win yesterday, as opposed to the loss on Friday. Finally, you have to enjoy the play of Shane Victorino in the field & at the plate. Victorino plays RF with abandon for his body as he narrowly missed a spectacular jumping catch into the stands on a foul ball while crashing into the side wall. At the plate he batted right-handed against a righty pitcher & delivered an RBI single. As much as Michael Felger & others try to poo poo this team, the fact is that they continue to win. I would expect a 6-4 or 7-3 record on this road trip.
