How's that signing of Shane Victorino looking now? Victorino hits 2 homers & drives in 7 to lead a massive Sox offense in a route of the O's 13-2. Nice way to start the home stand. Nice way to bury a team that has had the Red Sox number for the past few years. And a loss by the Rays lengthens the Sox lead in the AL East. Every game counts. Felix Doubront looked like he was heading for a quick exit in the 3rd, but he got 2 big outs before more damage was done & ended up pitching into the 7th. Mike Napoli looks like he is ready to explode like April as he has 3 HR's in his last 7 games, a mammoth shot last night included. You have to be impressed that the pitching & offense is coming together at the right time. With Lackey & Lester going the next 2 games you have to feel good that the Sox will win this series, maybe even sweep.
