Odds & Ends
Just a couple of random thoughts. The City of Detroit is bankrupt. How great would it be for the Detroit Tigers to go a long way in the playoffs to give Detroiters something positive to cheer about. Terry Francona's Indians are in line for the 2nd wild card in the AL. However, they just can beat their division nemesis - Detroit Tigers - as they lost again to the Tigers last night at home 4-2. Looking at the production from Wil Myers should the Red Sox have pulled the trigger on a trade deal with KC for Jon Lester like the Rays did for James Shields? Stephen Strasburg & the Washington Nationals are a figment of what they were in 2012. How does that decision to keep Strasburg out of the 2012 playoffs look now to Nats fans? And finally, how can allowing A-Rod to play through his appeal be in the best interest of baseball? Let me know if you have any comments by clicking the comment button below. Thanks!

I'd love to see Francona land on to. He is a class act. I NEVER thought keeping Strasburg out was in either his OR the team's best interest. If we are talking best interest of baseball, A-Roid needs to go away. As I have said in the past, baseball needs a strong leader. Bud doesn't quite measure up.
